Tapering off of Clonazepam for withdrawals

Do you think baclofen would help me? I am looking up all kinds of herbal drugs that might help with this, but not ready to put out the money if I don't know the results - at least some results that someone has had with them - but I'd pay anything not to feel like this!!!

If you have been on clonazepam for 7 years I'd think one of your doctors would at the least taper you off of it. Did you ask because I don't think any doctor would just take you off a drug that can produce seizures if taken off cold turkey. Your two doctors should have got together and decided which one of them would taper you. To not taper you would be against medical practice, as it could kill you. A major lawsuit could be on their hands. You should call one of them back, tell them your symptoms and ask to taper you off.

Baclofen does have activity to GABA so it could prevent seizure type symptoms like convulsions, shakes and relax your muscles some. Although a better choice would be Lyrica, as that would help many of the other symptoms as well. It could be effective for your anxiety and insomnia also. I'd have to say that Lyrica is one step down from benzodiazepines for anxiety/insomnia. It works as an anticonvulsant also.
