Tapering down on benzos and meth

As you may have read in my other posts, Thailand is heaven for drug users. Therefore, I have indulged in them for quite a bit. I have reached a level equivalent of about 4 mgs of Xanax per day (including Valium where 10 mg = 1 mg of xanax, right?) This does NOT include nights of using meth where I easily do around 6-8 mgs for sleeping. THese nights are fairly frequent...like 3 days apart.
This has been going on for like 3 or 4 months.
So, how many days do I need for tapering down to zero? I cannot bring any benzos back home...I have a good supply of Celexa, so I was thinking that that might help as it may increase the clinical effect of the benzos. I also have access to Codeine.
BTW, max amount of days in Thailand are about 20 - so how quickly should I taper down? I have no idea if I will have any problems at all....

Benzo withdrawl can be a real REAL bitch... start tapering now- as you taper, spread the dose out over the day. Try 1-2mg reduction first week, 1 mg 2nd week etc. You want to keep the percentage reduction about the same... BUT, you CAN bring back benzos (assuming you're coming into the US) if you have a script for them from a doc over in thailand. The rules are a bit vague, but check out the US customs site. You are allowed to bring them back with you up to a certain amount (the limits changed recently).
