A bit off topic, but a few months back I tried the benzo scam and I felt like it was a sure deal.
I called up Kasier (who sucks), spoke with an advice nurse and told her I was flying across the country (which was true). I asked for something to help relieve the mild panic attacks I had and that I was much more nervous than usual (somewhat true).
Anyways she recommend benedryl or tylenol pm which I said I've taken but they make me very irritable and make me feel pretty crappy if I wake up before the med wears off. She said she would pass it along to my health care dr. She did and she called back a few days later and said that there is nothing they can do for me other than tell me take benedryl or the like.
Total BS. But it's not her fault, or Kaiser. The dr I currently have really sucks. I don't know what his problem is. Everytime I go there he spends maybe 2 minutes with me and nearly rushes me out the door. He almost never makes eye contact.
Also, the first time I went I asked about what I should do about my borderline high blood pressure and he said don't worry about it but that I needed to watch my cholesterol, to which I asked why, is it high. And he said no, it's actually pretty low. WTF?
Sorry, pretty off topic, but thinking about this doc really pisses me off.
