Talking about your roll--helps alleviate the urge?

The question:
Does talking about your roll experience with others, and listening to others' experiences, help alleviate the craving to roll again (when you know you shouldn't), or is it just stoking the fire?

Long:
I've only rolled twice and I don't want to do more than a couple times a year. Last time was a month-ish ago... and I am just now starting to really feel, at night, like, Wow, it would be awesome to be rolling right now...

But I love thinking about the experience I had last time, and just listening to some of my favorite tracks and browsing the forums here...

Does anyone have any other suggestions to substitute for rolling? I don't have access to any other substances atm. I am trying to learn to dance (shuffle) so that my next roll will be leet, and it kind of helps me feel connected to the culture...

Disclaimer:
Really sorry if this has already been posted, but I've flipped back a couple pages and used the search, and I couldn't find anything...

Ugh it depends on who you are. I use this site as a constant reminder to space out my rolls but if i sit and talk about with buddys it will make us all wanna roll. IMO id say just keep yourself busy. Whether it be learning to shuffle or doing some yard work, you just gotta keep your mind off it at the times you want it most.

Yeah just try to keep your mind off it for the most part, try picking up a new hobby so you have something to do. It can get really easy to just start rolling every weekend

I read articles and discussions on bluelight, which helps me learn about the dangers of over-rolling, and what is actually going on in my brain. I think, the more you know about the potential damage you can do to yourself from rolling, the more you will be cautious and understand not to overdo it.

But again, you're talking about 2-3 times a year, and I see myself rolling 10-11 times a year as spaced out enough...

for me talking/thinking about it makes the urges worst and i tend to given in. try setting a date for the next time you plan on rolling..like a mental date so you atleast know how long you gotta wait
