taking Vyvanse without the capsule...?

I have a script for Vyvanse and I noticed when opening the capsules, they do not contain powder, but rather a solid white center. Will taking this "center" (for lack of a better word) alone still be effective, or does the capsule itself play an essential role in the absorption of the drug? Just curious. Thanks in advance.

It probably wouldn't make a difference. I'm not 100% sure, but there maybe some lisdexamphetamine in the capsule itself...so you may as well swallow the whole thing.
