I have a cold and I am running a light fever, and I have 100mg of Tramadol that I'm considering taking in the hope that it might make me feel a bit better. I just recently took 400mg ibuprofen a few minutes ago and in about 45 minutes I am planning on taking a couple acetominophen tablets (I have heard that staggering the doses out is a good idea when taking those two together). Is there any reason why Tramadol would make things worse instead of better? I basically never take painkillers (I've been sitting on these two measly Tramadol tablets for months because I really have no desire to take it or any other opiate or pseudo-opiate in normal daily life) but I just feel generally like shit today so I'm considering taking it to make things a little bit better. I know next to nothing about this drug. Is this a good, bad, or generally neutral idea?
