Taking too much xanex, but is still having panic attacks

OK, i got adicted to xanex 6 months ago, got clean. and now i have a bottle of three mg xr xanax but im still havign panic attacks. should i take them until it stops, or is it safe to do moreee
 
The 3 mg Xanax XR are extended release. For panic attacks, you need something that's immediate release. Maybe you shoud talk to your doctor and see if he can give you something temperory for the panic attacks (ie. diazepam).
 
I would never advise someone to attempt to use a drug they've been addicted to therapeutically unless there are no other alternatives. Since this is a medical problem, you should consult a medical practitioner. I don't think its appropriate for us to make the decision for you so I'm going to close this.
