Opioids Taking Oxy after Subutex not Suboxone.

I took 8mg of Subutex this morning about 6am and it's now 2pm and I still feel shitty so I took 7 30mg Oxycodone's and more normal Oxycodone Dosage is normally 3-4 30mg at a time. Do you think it is enough to breakthru the Subutex I took 8hr's ago?? I still feel like shit so I'm assuming I don't have enough Subutex. Please help me out on this and don't close it on me. I know Subutex doesn't have Naloxeone in it and that helps block your opiate receptors but Subutex doesn't have it in it.

Subutex and suboxone both have buprenorphine which is really the big player in this game. Naloxone is pretty much inconsequential. Breaking through 8mg of buprenorphine is veryyy difficult. After 8 hours you'd need to take a helluva lot of full agonist opioids. My opinion is that you are expecting a high from the subs but it is just keeping you baseline and you therefore don't think it is working. Take the subs a few days in a row and it will build up in your system and you'll feel fine.

For nearly all purposes, Subutex = Suboxone = Buprenex, etc.

if you truly are feeling like shit still, and it isn't your mind doing most of the work, you will feel something at that dosage. if you are feeling "off"," no doubt it will take away any linger effects of withdrawal. but the question is if it really is worth doing that much Oxy versus your end result - it's a total waste). also, there have been numerous complaints of some nasty side-effects when dosing these two different agonists so close together (headaches, stomach pains, etc)

keep in mind, the longer you dose the better the result is going to be - both concerning the high and the possibility of messing your body up for a day. I would wait it out until the next day... I know 8 mgs of Subutex doesn't seem like enough, but it's a helluva tricky drug, and it works with even that much

I took 7 Oxy's at one about a hour ago(12 hr's after my Subutex I took.). I feel it slightly but it def is a waste. Although I'm not having hot/cold flashes and constantly having to go to the Bathroom constantly and my legs aren't cramping up anymore. I'm just honestly surprised that 8mg of Subutex didn't hold me over to feeling normal how it usually does. I actually would normally take 4mg on my 1st dose to switching to Oxy to Sub's but I've been taking almost twice the amount so I took twice the amount of Sub's but it didn't help like normally and unfortunately I only had 1 8mg Subutex so I couldn't try taking anymore. It's weird.

yeah i would say that would be a waste i'd wait at least 24 hours

ya depending on your metabolism you need to wait 36-72 hrs to feel somethin but everybodys differnt
