I was just looking all over and i couldn't get an answer to this question and I am just curious since... I really have no idea.

People say they have Kratom w/d, which i understand because it's like if you had coffee everyday , you would withdrawal from not having caffeine . I know it isn't an opiate, but it helps tremendously with opiate withdrawals.

I am not getting off Kratom right now, but I was just curious about this as I couldn't find an answer..

If you take opiates.. whichever you may take.. vics, perks, oxy, heroin.. AFTER you last take Kratom , will that replace the Kratom, therefore causing no withdrawal in the end since A. You haven't taken any opiates in 2-3 months, so there is no opiates in ur system. B You would take the opiate, but you wouldn't be physically addicted as you were before you took Kratom, and have been clean and only taken Kratom (which is not an OPIATE) . ?

Not sure if this is confusing but if you just used KRATOM ONLY for 2-3+ months, and no opiates. Then stopped Kratom and experienced those minor w/d symptoms from Kratom, would taking a low dose of vic, perks, oxy, etc. blow over the lack of Kratom and bring you out of the withdrawal period into no withdrawal from either?

Im curious as I can't find an answer to this

^ Exactly. I'm curious why the OP could not find the answer to that.

You will eventually have to pay the piper one day. There's no magical way of avoiding WD.

kratom *IS an opioid.

If that's true, how/why is it available in "headshops" or wherever? I'm a rookie and only going on what I've read on BL. I'd have no idea where to find it where I'm at but it could be around the corner for all I know. Sorry for all the questions but I'm really curious as I'm headed into a rough patch before my next refill and I might need a little something to help me get over the hump. Thanks in advance and good luck Kanye with your search for good info.

In answer to your question, I'd say yes, it would get rid of your W/D symptoms, but as others have pointed out, it isn't really a great way to go, because you're just replacing an opiate with more powerful opiods(or ates).

In answer(of sorts) to your question just above, why are poppy seeds available just about anywhere?

It's available at "headshops" and 'online' because it is relatively unknown. Hence the DEA hasnt had the chance to make it illegal yet.

Legality has nothing to do with the chemical structure of a drug. It *IS* an opioid.
Just like immodium (loperamide) is an opioid. (just doesnt effectively pass the BBB)

You'd just be replacing one opiate/-oid with another. The withdrawals might end up being WORSE if you switch. I'm currently going through kratom withdrawals and it's nothing like quitting coffee. The symptoms are physical and emotional and can't be ignored. And my habit is very small.

Imodium might help with the physical symptoms, just don't overdo it. From what I've seen, it could have some nasty toxic properties similar to MPTP at high doses.

Codeine works very well for kratom WD, but many people then get addicted to the codeine, so thats not really a good solution either

Than you use hydrocodone for the codeine, than use oxycodone for the hydrocodone. Than oxymorphone for the oxycodone & than your doing dope.
