Opioids Taking old Vicodin?

So I came across some old Vicodin in the house, I believe its from '07. I've taken it one 3 different occasions...once I took 2 pills, then I parachuted 3 pills, and tonight I used cold water extraction with 5 pills. They are 7.5/750, and none of these times have I felt the effects usually described. I felt mildy euphoric, but nothing more. Is it because these are old pills?

Three years is not long enough for the pills to degrade. I have taken percocet from 1996 and they worked just fine. You may just be expecting too much out of vicoden. Although you can get quite high from them, the aren't overwhelmingly powerful.. Euphoria and a sense of well being are a major effect. What are you expecting from them?

Without any tolerance you should definitely feel 5 x 7.5mg hydrocodone. Are you sure someone didn't eat the Vicodin and replace them with Tylenol

This has been covered many times, but its fine to take old hydrocodone and acetaminophen tablets (in terms of their efficacy) so long as they haven't been stored in temperature/humidity/light extremes. Its possible that you have a higher natural tolerance or are just not as affected by opioids as some people are.

Haha. I read somewhere on Bluelight about some guy doing this. I guess its a common phenomenon.
