Taking morphine orally for the first time?

Hi all. First post. I've looked through some old threads searching for some input on taking morphine orally but haven't really found what I was looking for. I have 14 morphine pills - after internet searching pretty hard I've been able to identify them as 30mg morphine sulfate extended release. They're small, round greenish/gray pills with 30 printed on one side and E653 on the other.

From what I understand, the instant release will give a better high than the extended release. Are these worth taking? I have some experience taking opiates and always enjoyed it. If I take it, orally is the best way to go or should I try snorting? Thanks for the input.

Take them orally.

Kinda old, but if used rectally, adding some baking soda to the solution will increase the BA two-fold. What kind of tolerance are you looking at? This information would help a lot in dose calculation. Also, if you are using these rectally, they're "Contins" so it's best to soak them ib water for 12 hours before administering.

You may take them orally, crush them and take them orally or crush them and snort it. If you crush them, they will become "instant release".

I don't find eating them to be a waste, I certainly enjoy oral Morphine, but I've never been too rough into the opiates..
I think 20 mg would be an ideal dose with no tolerance orally, you can take more, but you can't take less.. I wouldn't bother sniffing them as it's not worth it and provides no benefit/advantage

crushing the ER morphines in my experience wont break it into instant release, as you can already tell, the pull can be broken in half just by flicking it with ur finger, ur tapping it with a lighter, they crush up very easily, in fact easier then IR pills, whats still keeping it ER is the Wax formula design, no matter how u put it, it will metabolize slowly as its designed, its a big wax ball slowly being metabolized...either way chewing them or not, orally, morphine IMO is enjoyable, that is if ur a novice opiate user and know what to expect, IDK why people shit on morphine so much, it is one step below heroin, and heroin by the way is (D-Morphine) only difference between the two is heroin (Diacetyl-morphine) reaches the BBB (blood brain barrier) much faster then morphine, and of course morphine has so many abuse proof locks on the pills abusing it is hard to achieve a high similiar to heroin(morphine in it's sulphate form is another reason why its less euphoric, if you had morphine HCL, my god u will be in for a hell of a ride). but for me, as an addict of opiates for 10 years, with a tolerance ranging from 6bags of dope a day/ 3 subs a day/ needing over 200mg oxy just for a buzz, i find when im in withdrawl 120mg of morphine orally takes my withdrawl right away, and gives me a tiny kick of euphoria, with my tolerance 600mg+ gets me rocked. i remember when i ran out of opiates for 3 weeks, with a massive tolernace, that is. i got my hands on MScontin 30's, and i took 60mg and got pretty fucking high...may not be the euphoria many ppl look for in the comon opiates, but me a heroin addict, opiate novice, i enjoy the effects of morphine. oral morphine IMO ha slight mental euphoria , it does but mild, but hella body high..i find it long acting, i can take oral morphine today, and be withdrawl free all the way until late tomorrow night...
