Taking Metoprolol (selective β1 receptor blocker) while high on a stimulant?

Hello

Got a pretty serious question and I hope someone can answer it.
I took a little too much of this RC stim called 4f-pvp so I feel body anxiety and I only have very light bensos.
Is it safe to take this Metoprolol medication I have while on a stim? Will it help? Or is it dangerous??

Beta blockers would not be helpful in the case of too much stimulants. You're better off taking benzos in this situation.

Beta blockers can cause some sort of adrenaline blockade, which would make it much worse. I agree with T. Calderone.
