Taking MDMA while you're taking Mirtazapine

Hi everyone,
I would like any advice from anyone who has ever taken MDMA whilst they were on Mirtazapine. I loved ekky pills when I was younger but stopped taking them because they no longer had much of an effect when I was either on SSRI or SNRI antidepressants. I understand that Mirtazapine is different to those. So I'd like to hear advice or opinions on this matter before I go trying to obtain MDMA again. Thanks in advance.

You should feel the MDMA while Mirtazapine is in your system. Just don't take them together, take the Mirtazapine when your on the comedown from the MDMA.

There must be someone on these forum who has first hand experience? I don't mean to be rude but speculation is what I had before I started this thread 😂

I have followed discussion a bit and some people claim they have managed to roll while having some amount of mirtazapine on their system. However, if you take, like 15-30 mg every day, chances are, you should be off the stuff for 1-3 weeks before you could roll proper.

I have once been disappointed of molly because I had been taking a lot of mirta lately.

I can sort of comment, i was on mirtazapine for a while a long time ago, and taking e's regularly with my girlfriend at the time, felt like a very bland high, and that awfull feeling of knowing you will not sleep.
Then there's the physical side, I couldn't shoot whilst having sex, no matter where either, tried for hours. Probably why she kept buying them.
But, I was also on effexor, which is believe is an ssri.

Very boring high, but better than speed, for me anyway.

Effexor is an SNRI. From all the research I've ever done I would assume that the effexor would definately kill the MDMA high. So the fact that you are on it and Mirtazapine doesn't really make things any clearer. It was still good to hear that you got even a bland high whilst on the 2 antidepressants so thank you for your reply.

Yes, I have taken mdma while on mirtazapine. It does work, but probably not to the full extent it should, maybe slightly blunted, but idk. I also just have a high natural tolerance for mdma and it often doesn't effect me that intensely, regardless of any other extenuating factors.

Answer is probably something like it depends, the lesser you have taken mirtazapine lately, the better the roll is if you are not having severe mirta withdrawals because of decreasing dosing as of lately. I am advicing against rolling while feeling sick already. It depends also on personal chemistry. Even if someone told it doesn't work on your regimen, it might actually work because of that. It also defines how easy it is to take break of mirtazapine, some people don't really suffer of it much.

It is safe, so you can try it, as long as you don't start megadosing because of mirtazapine hindering high. But there is no quarantee of good time.
