taking MDMA/E with semi strangers

I guess this thread is aimed for the more cautious people when taking E. I know some people are really comfortable rolling with new people in a completely new setting etc.


I moved into a new city and got to know some cool and people here. But I have no idea whats their take on drug use and its a little bit of a weird question to ask from such a short time acquaintance Planning to go to see a famous DJ in a few weeks and I have thought about rolling there. Ive rolled maybe 10-15 times and pretty comfortable with the drug. Although I would say clubs/bigger events are not my favorite places for rolling but I can definitely handle myself. Ive just mostly rolled with some good friends at house parties.


Plan is to go with maybe 5-6 new people and if I am the only one rolling, do not know about their thoughts for drugs etc.. I am not sure if this is the best plan and it can get pretty awkward if it goes wrong. Any of you guys experienced with something similar? How did it end up for you? thanks in advance!
 
Go along, take some MDMA and if you get odd looks from them walk off and befriend a random group.
 
Taking hard drugs with people you can't trust is a bad plan. I wouldn't enjoy rolling alone in that setting.
 
It all depends on how they feel about drugs, if they simply wouldn't do them themselves but are more or less fine with you doing it then why not. If they are going to be awkward around you or regurgitate tabloid lies at you then don't.

Problem that is you have to have the conversation with them first.
 
Yeah how do you ask that kind of question?
Just be like 'damn we should roll at X!' or a bit more subtle like 'I bet EVERYONE in there will be on Y'?
 
"Hey, I was thinking of taking some MDMA at X."

Figure out if they're okay with it first.

From my experience I really dislike being around anyone whom I am keeping from them what I am doing or if they do not understand or approve of what you are doing. It can out you in a bad headspace with MDMA.

If you're going to roll around people who aren't rolling also, make sure they know, understand and are okay with it. the worst feeling ever is sitting there rolling face feeling guilty as your spine tingles, you can feel like a really shitty person.
 
Not my idea of a good time. Suppose one of them or all of them freak out at you and start blathering some kind of Christian anti-drug shit?
That would be a real downer, it would freak you out something awful and could even be quite traumatic.
Not a good idea.

I would say talk it over with your friends every time I try to be discrete about stuff around new people I am usually looked at as a wierdo...
 
just bring it up with them next time you talk, you never know they might be thinking the same things about you. and if they are the kind of people to hold something you do once in a while against you i wouldn't want to chill with them anyway.
 
When you meet up with everyone ask them how they feel about it. Tell them you were planning on rolling (if the response is positive) and offer them some? You shouldn't roll if they are against it. I also wouldn't feel comfortable being the only one rolling so encourage them to do it with you. It always seems like you're pretty in control when you're rolling but--you look weird. Lol.

I once had a similar type of experience and I think this post is very spot on. Also I really enjoy going with the feeling in MDMA so holding something back can make you uncomfortable.

Don't encourage people to do drugs. Should you encourage people to drink? Even if your promoting safe drug use, drug use of any kind can be dangerous and even more importantly illegal. What if they get caught and it's your fault that they were doing it in the first place. Be honest with your opinions about drugs but never push them on someone.
 
I agree on bringing it up beforehand so it's not awkward the day of. Report back on how it goes!
