Taking MDMA at a festival while health anxious

So i'm going to leeds festival, and was planning to take some MDMA during 2 of the nights. I was more worried about my health.

I have rolled 7/8 times in the past, one being a terrible experience which left me with blurred vision/light headedness and severe anxiety for months.

I usually get a head/back pressure and i think it's due to bad circulation. Since i have rolled before without any heart issues (that i know of), would it be safe to say that i would not suffer the same at Leeds? This is more for closure that i am going to be fine there; and not have to worry about it.

The MAIN reason for this thread however, is that i tend to have quite a bad comedown the following day which i usually suffer through at home. This will be different as i am camping, with no proper food, possibly drinking, and quite probably rolling again the night after the first.

Any suggestions as to how i could reduce the comedown after the first/second roll, or should i avoid it?
 
Avoid rolling 2 days in a row/back-to back. In fact, avoid using MDMA more than once throughout the festival. Trust me, I have one it - the 2nd night is shite, and the come-down is absolute hell. Stick to ONE dose of MDMA (so whatever dose gets you going), with no re-dosing (you will feel MILES better the next day!). I also suggest using MDMA on perhaps the last day of the fesitval, so that way, you are not coming down hard on the 2nd/3rd day, and you get to enjoy all the days of the festival in a good mind-set. For the days you are not rolling, either drink, smoke weed, (or if you must), use a psyche such as 2CB or AL-LAD (it has little/no cross tolerance with MDMA)

I've been to Leeds Fest four times and also other Festivals. I don't know how many festivals you've been to (if any) or if you know about any of my MD recommendations so sorry if anything I say next you already know.

In terms of the bad experience you had, all I can say is that usually everyone has a bad experience on something. You just have to play it by ear. Roll with other people so you feel supported. Go steady, don't take loads at once. However, you seem like you had some pretty bad anxiety that was long term, as opposed to a super bad experience that just lasted a week or so, so maybe that indicates underlying mental health issues. It's your choice whether you want to take MD after that.

But yeah, basically, festivals can be one of the worst places to come down cause there's no proper food or bed. That said, you are surrounded by like minded people, so it can be alright if you're hanging out with loads of people on a comedown. When I've taken MD at Leeds before, I always do it on the Sunday night, go out and have an amazing time, then head home on the Monday straight to my bed. If you've never taken MKat before, take a bit of that on the other nights, it's similar, and you shouldn't have too a bad comedown from a first use, (although maybe using MKat will make your MD comedown worse, I don't know)

Buttt if you decide to use MD before Sunday heres my recommendations for avoiding comedown:

- Like SilentRoller said, don't redose. Just take one standard dosage (maybe 150mg, depending on your tolerance) and then maybe another 70mg booster later.

- Before you go to the festival buy sports drinks/gatorade/electrolyte drinks and drink those instead of water. It keeps you better hydrated and combats risk of hyponatremia (google it if you don't know what this is)

- Smoke loads of weed when you get back to camp after the night out. It'll calm you down and let you have a proper(ish) sleep. Then you'll feel better the next day.

- If you get bad comedowns, just don't use two nights in a row. One of my friends has the capability to roll three nights in a row, and she still has a great time. I cannot do this. By the third night I feel shit. I need at least two weeks to recover after one roll. It sucks, but thats just the way it is for some of us. (If you ask me this is a blessing in disguise, it means its harder for me to fuck myself up longterm from overuse)

- Don't drink much booze when you're rolling. It dehydrates, and I find it actually detracts from the roll.

- Eat something! Usually I never feel like it at all, but actually a lot of my comedown from MDMA is cause I don't bother to look after myself properly. Imagine doing all the things you do on MDMA, but without the drug to distract you from it. Hours dancing, no food, no sleep. Its not surprising we feel like shit. For a festival take some salty crackers, boxes of juice, plenty of fruit (oranges travel well), more gatorade. Theres a smoothie stand in the arena which is the best for comedowns. It might also be worth buying some hot food the next day, even though its proper expensive.

- Have some 5-HTP the next day, should help you feel better.

Also when me and my friends are coming down at a festival, we spoon in sleeping bags. My friend who studies biology told us it promotes release of oxytocin which makes you feel better. Either way who doesn't like spooning?
