I take suboxone daily (4 mg 2x day) and I am curious about lope and its effects. I'm just wondering if I took a day off of my usual suboxone doses and took a high dose of loperamide, would it send me into precipitated wd when I take my usual suboxone dose the next day. I know that lope can cause precipitated wd, but I'm under the impression that since the suboxone has long built up in my system that precipitated wd would not occur in that time frame. I would just like to make sure because a (dirty) lope high is most definitely not worth going through that hell.

Most likely not, but it's a pretty stupid idea. Assuming you took enough loperamide that enough would cross the BBB and induce intoxication is not likely at all at such a high dosage of buprenorphine. If shooting a bag of heroin doesn't break through that dosage of buprenorphine, than I highly doubt loperamide would, chemically related to fentanyl or not.

You can usually dose a full agonist on top of a low dose of suboxone(ie 2mg and under) 12hours later, and not have precipitated withdrawal the next. You can definately take a break off of suboxone and do your doc for about two days and not experience precipitated withdrawals (especially if your at such a high dose of suboxone). For me it would usually be when I've dropped the suboxone and started shooting a bundle of dope a day for about three days, that I would have to worry about the precipitated withdrawal. I don't know why it works this way, but I'm guessing it has to do with the suboxone losing its grip on your receptors after a certain amount of time, the full agonist keeping those receptors filled to avoid withdrawal, and maybey creating new receptors too, so after a certain period of time you've got less buprenorphine on your receptors and more of a full agonist attached, so the transition then becomes harder to deal with than if you took a one day break, as you'd still have a Lot of bupe attached.

Ummmmmm.....No.

absolutley not, your dependent on bupe, you could take an ass load of heroin and 4 hours later take your sub dose. While i wouldnt recommend it because it would kill any high or decent feeling you may achieve from the dope, you still wont go into precip WD. You need to be full agonist dependent

Wait what? thats totally not how I understand it but I would be happy to be proven wrong.

Thanks guys thats what i thought. And yea znegative, it probably isnt even worth it but im just curious with all the people claiming they get a decent high off lope.

Yeah dude, I didnt want to come down on you hard or anything, and to be perfectly honest I've contemplated trying to use loperamide to get high, but it just seems like a stupid drug to attempt to relapse on. If I go out, I'm going out hard, not on some OTC anti-diarrheal medication.

Loperamdie sucks... It's good for easing withdrawal, that's it. Any 'high' you might get off the shit (I've taken as high as 96mg on several occasions) is only comparable at best (in my experience) to a glass of weak-ass poppy pod tea if you have a high opiate tolerance. Tension in the neck and shoulders, dry dry dry mouth, headache, severe constipation, and maybe just a 'little' bit of that warm, calm, oozing euphoria we all love... Unless you have *zero* tolerance, I doubt loperamide is of any recreational value for most people, and even then you wouldn't shit for a fucking month... ESPECIALLY if on Suboxone, I doubt you'd feel anything at all... Not worth it. Suboxone plugs me up bad enough as it is... Just my two cents.
