Opioids Taking liquid morphine

I have a tube of liquid morphine and have taken it by using an eye dropper and dropping it onto my tongue, and while I get a nice sensation in my body, it hasn't made me feel anywhere near as nice as I assumed morphine would. Am I taking it wrong, or am I just not taking too much (that's assuming I'm doing it right). I squirt the liquid morphine onto my tongue, but should I let it dissolve into my gums or something like that? And should wait a while to rinse my mouth out after taking it? Any help would be appreciated, I know that I'm asking stupid questions but it's things that I'm really not too sure about. Thanks.

Well it'd be helpful if you mentioned how much you're taking and what your tolerance is like.

I don't have any tolerance, and the amount doesn't really matter because I'm mainly asking if it would be more effective if I dropped it onto my tongue or my gums.

It shouldn't really matter where you squirt it, IME. I have liquid Morphine as well (Oramorph liquid lozenges 5ml/10mg) and it adds nicely to my OxyContin. :)

i don't think moprhine is worth taking usless you IV it but you can just drink the liquid and get an effect

You just need to know the concentration of the liquid (mg/mL) and then drink a dose I'd say around 20mg to get started. Just make sure to use something that has graduations ( an oral syringe for example) so you know the dose you're taking.
