Opioids Taking Hydrocodone after loperamide

Hey guys, just a quick question. If one where to take 200 mg of loperamide to ease w/d's, would it then be ok to take a dose of about 60mg of hydro the next day, a little over 24 hours later? I know the effects of loperamide last a very long time so i just want to make sure there wouldnt be any interaction between the two, any help with this would be very much appreciated

Yes, Im sure that is safe as Lope as it has been said multiple times, really does't cross the BBB and cause any CNS depression. So if you have a tolerence of 60mg hydro, I don't see why you wouldn't be in the safe!

200 mg is a lot of loperamide. I have an incredibly high tolerance for opiates especially for my size and don't need that much. That's crazy, man. I don't see the issue-- I did a bunch if heroin after lope and didn't have a problem.

At that high of a dose, it actually would cross the BBB, but of course without CYP3A4/PPG inhibitors, the amount would still be small. But 200mg is fucking massive. Be careful taking those high of doses, lope can have some pretty nasty side effects.

But yeah, there is no problem dosing a typical full agonist the next day. The half-life of loperamide is 8-16h in any case.

If you need 200mg of lope to stave off wd, taking 60mg of hydro would just seem like a waste to me. Probably won't even put a dent in, well, anything.

The binding affinity of loperamide is almost exactly the same as that of methadone, so it won't have any blocking properties except at massive doses, and it would in way be comparable to buprenorphine.

Besides, loperamide(under normal circumstances) works almost exclusively in the PNS. So it's not going to block the effects of any typical full agonist opioid.

200mg of loperamide is a shitload... you're risking cardiac issues (long QT syndrome) and other nastiness at that sort of dosage.

Don't even bother taking the hydro, it want do anything...before I got on bupe I would take massive doses of Lope when nothing was available(144-200mg.) It seems to raise tolerance or block other opiates(for me) when takin at high doses like that, but a high dose like that will keep you well for a long time..it's the only opiate that made me looked fucked up when I took high doses like that..blood shot eyes, really tired looking, like i had a shit ton of weed, but no euphoria at all, just wanna sleep. Suprisingly I would poop the next day...
