I took some pentobarbital at 4 and it's 6 PM now and I'm wide awake. Took a little more about 5:20, plus an OTC sleeping pill (I have benzos but I'm trying to hold onto them)... I guess nothing's going to happen. ? Or at some point will I just crash? I have to get up early -- was planning to sleep from about 4:30ish to 7-8 PM.. anyway I'm taking something that increases my appetite.. didn't even think that the drugs would not be absorbed quickly like they usually are. I want to take more but I don't want to OD... that stuff can make you do really weird things if you take too much, and I know I've already taken enough. I guess just hang out and hope at some point it'll kick in - or is that not going to happen? I'm def not going to take more.. that's asking for trouble, I know. Any advice, guidance, opinions, etc., are appreciated.

In general, the contents of your stomach, or lack thereof, are going to effect how long it takes for you to feel effects and in return, how long you are effected and when the effects wear off. Every drug is different and for some, total absorption can be greatly effected by stomach contents, but pentobarbital shouldn't be one of them. For me. pentobarbital would kick in within 30 minutes on an empty stomach and maybe up to any hour on a full stomach.

For your own good, I feel like I should tell you that you could've answered this question on your own. A little bit of research would've yielded the same answer I've provided. It's not that I find it annoying or care greatly about "thread clutter", it's that you generally want a fast answer to your questions and instead of waiting around for someone to answer you, you could have your answer...
