Is it ok to take ciprelex (SSRI) after a night of hard drinking, before you go to bed? I take 10mg at night time usually around 10PM, would it be fine to take it after drinking say at around 3 AM or around that time? Would the SSRI make you more drunk with alchohol in your system, before you go to bed? Or would it be ok?

Thank You.

yea...only reason alcohol and ssris are bad...are for depressed people...it makes it 10x worse...but physically your ok....i take my paxil in the morning though that way i dont have to wrry about that s hit

^lots of people do stupid shit for years that doesn't mean others should emulate them. As reg pointed out, there isn't a pharmacological interaction however it defeats the purpose of regulating neurotransmitters such as serotonin and then fucking with them by ingesting drugs that affect them (such as alcohol).

And because I'm pedantic, its venlafaxine.
