Taking APAP and drinking. (Not as bad as what title suggests, read thread)

So Ive had a strep throat for about 4 days now and for 3 days ive been taking cough syrup (Recommended doses) 4 times a day. 2TBSP every 6 hours. It contains 1g of APAP per dose and 30 DXM. I dont really care about the DXM, just the APAP. The last dose I took was 9am EST and its now 10pm EST. I started drinking around 9pm.

Am I in the clear?

its not good for your liver to have to process two substances such as APAP&alcohol, so avoid it in the future

You can never be too careful with alcohol combined with apap. I learned the hard way from being prescribed pain meds with apap. I only drank lite beer with it and it was nearly two years ago I quit the pills. But my liver enzymes are way high and I'm afraid the damage is irreversible.

If you're just drinking occasionally and mixing, you might be ok. Be sure to drink a full glass of water in between. Be careful.
