Taking Adderall (Dextro-amphetamine) + Concerta (Methylphenidate)

ok heres the question
If i take Adderall and Concerta together would it increase the high? Or what would it do? The adderall is two 20mgs and the concerta is 18mgs(i have a full bottle of concerta) i just wanted to know ideal doses of both put together to get a decent high if possible

It'd sure as hell increase the bad side effects. Mixing two drugs like that really wouldn't be worth it... They have different durations, also. Adderall comedown bringing down the concerta.

What are you talking about? Adderall lasts longer than Concerta, by far! (and I'm not talking about time release here). If anything, the concerta comedown would interfere with the adderall high.
Anywways, unless you have a mad tolerance, I think that's much stuff to be taking all at once. Try the 20 mg of adderall and maybe 10 mg of concerta...although personally I'd just take the adderall by itself.
 
Concerta DOES however refer to time release and there was no mention of defeating the time release. Therefore concerta lasts longer than Adderall.
Also, plain old ritalin lasts longer on me than Adderall.

Well, for the vast majority of people, adderall will last a good deal longer than ritalin.
Ritalin/methylphenidate (not time release) half-life: 4 hr Tmax: 2 hr
Concerta/methylphendiate (time release) half life: 8-10 hr Tmax: 5 hr
Adderall/racemic amphetamine (not time release) half-life: 10 hr Tmax: 2 hr
Thus EVEN WHEN METHYLPHENIDATE IS TIME RELEASE, it does NOT last as long as amphetamine.

I don't know anyone who agrees with that as far as duration of noticeable effects go.
 
i was on 18mg Concerta but my mom told me today that she changed to 36mg,and how do i get the full affects off the 36mg Concerta like peeling the ouuter shell, crushing, dosage (usually take 60mg adderall to get a good high)<~~just to give you and idea on my tollerance. any info on this would be great i dont wanna fawk up and ruin some pills
 
I agree w/ The Welcome Matt just take the Adderall and save the Concerta for sum other time.
Are you gonna crush and snort it? Cuz peeling the shell off of a Concerta is a real pain in the ass, not that you really have a choice.
 
I to agree about skipping the concerta, save it for a time when you want to get work done. I don't think concerta is very fun for "recreational" purposes. SWIM really enjoyed the combo of adderall and dexedrine though, so you never know.
 
ooh mama!! I'll vouch for the Adderall/Dexedrine combo. I like it VERY much. fuck the concerta, forget that shit... you might as well just plug it... Ha, right?
 
Why is it 1 concerta daily is prescribed to kids when multiple doses of Adderall are?
Edit: Oh ok, peak plasma levels. Therefore concerta lasts longer. Amphetamine stays in the body longer. Concerta actually DOES SOMETHING longer. K.
