Taking 30mg of Klonopin?

So I'm prescribed clonazepam as well as alprazolam I have some experience with Xanax I only use about 2mgs once a week. So I started off with 6mg of Klonopin which fucked me up bad. Now I'm assuming I swallowed the rest of the pills shortly after because once I woke up they were all missing and I was still fucked up the next day. Even my father pointed it out how out of it I was. I have no memory of what happened after that.

Now my question is could that have potentially killed me?
I still feel funny but not too bad.

Most likely not. I wouldnt say it could never kill someone, but benzodiazepines are fairly hard to fatally overdose on without mixing with other substances. That is not to say you should take 30mg or even 6mg on a regular basis, as you certainly can blackout and hurt yourself in other ways.

The LD50 for clonazepam is something like 4000mg/kg in rats and 2000mg/kg in rabbits.

Obviously it's pretty impossible to tell the LD50 in humans, unless of course we start testing on all the soul less gingers out there.

The danger with benzos is when you mix them with other CNS depressants. So don't mix

BTW, blacking out and eating all your pills is uber common with benzos and benzo-esque sleeping meds like ambien.

no you wont die, at least not from k-pin overdose, but you might overdose on something else since youll be so gone out of your mind youll do stupid stuff and next thing you know your dead or in the hospital, or in jail for killing someone.

id advice to take like 1m-3mg not 30mg cmon man your gonna end up doing something stupid and forget everything, could end up really really bad bro.

The theraputic dose of Klonopin is usually 1 to 2 mg PO, q 8 h. This means that 6mg is more than enough to get off on. When you add a benzo to a benzo, you amplify the effects that much more. This is not a safe thing to do by any means, especially if we're talking 3 or more. If you want to potentiate the effects of a benzo in a relatively safe and hopefully pleasant manner, try adding a H1 antagonist (such as diphenhydramine, etc.) to it, using the maximum theraputic dossages of each. (i.e. klonopin 1mg and diphenhyramine 100mg should do it nicely.). I had an ER doctor do this once, and belive me, the effects were rather nice. The only thing that pissed me off about it was that I was a bit too jacked up (at least for me anyways) to get the sex I was hoping for, but thats beside the point.
