Take a Moment and Kiss the Sky
Take 5 minutes today and look around you. I have been here two years and I am still taken away by the beauty of where we live. I for one know about other places traveling for 4 yrs around the U.S. and ending up here. As a child I was thrilled with the outdoors
Growing up in Oregon and being able to play in the woods every summer camping for days on end. But Colorado amazes me. Don`t get me wrong I am proud to be brought up in Oregon and learning the things I did.
But, now living here in this Valley I am even prouder to end up here. Mountains that may not seem like giants towering over us, but reality they are magnificent creations that only a small percentage of Americans ever get to see. A sky that is so blue sometimes you think you were below the Sea. Fluffy clouds that you can almost touch, that most only see a view from an airplane. Trails that go forever, some that make you feel like you can touch the sky, a dream for any hiker. Streams and natures animals are never but a head turn away. Extreme sportsman who come far and wide to spend maybe only a week to a few weeks to play in our backyard.
Where most people spend there time working to just get by. People in the valley take two jobs just so there seasons can be full of Fun and outdoors adventures of a life time. I been in the Cities of Los Angeles, California but to find a cool breeze and fresh air never seems to be an option. Orlando, Florida where life is so busy getting to the beach seems impossible, even if you do, can you bear the Humidity?
From City to City town to town, I have gone down the list of things I like, But when I put this valley to the test, I come up with so many good things about living here. From Customers to friend that visit. Each one has fallen greatly in love with the place we call home. Many times when people become locals or the locals themselves we might forget where we really live and why we are here. There may be occasions sounds of a truck going by, or an ambulance that be one it way to rescue situation. But even as I sit here writing this window open, I can hear some birds chirping, and As I glance out my window I can`t help but catch my breathe. The site of the mountains view within my window looks like a picture from a post card, hmmmm maybe that is what I will do,,, a postcard to my friends noted with a message.
