T2 without a method of measurement

100mg of 2-ct-2 has been procured but there is no scale for milligrams. How can 2-ct-2 be eyed out or compared to an object such as a grain of rice to weigh 20mg or less?

Split it into 5 equal parts each consisting of 20mg.
Both chemicals generally come in the form of a hydrochloride salt, which are white crystalline powders. As free bases, both chemicals are a clear white oil.

Put it into a solution of known volume and then take 1/5th of the solution assuming you can extract the 2ct2 salt by evaporation afterwords.
Since these chemicals have become more widely available, some people have been dissolving them in solvents to allow for measuring doses out by liquid volume. The two most popular solvents for this purpose have been water and ethyl alcohol. There have been mixed reports as to the solubility of 2C-T-2 and 2C-T-7. Some have reported that when making solutions using water, with time, the drugs recrystallize and settle to the bottom. Reports of both unexpectedly strong and weak reactions raise questions about just how soluble these chemicals are. One factor which needs to be accounted for as well is that the solvents being used are not pure. Although advocates of this measurement technique recommend using distilled water, it is possible that people are also using plain bottled water and even unfiltered tap water. Some people use high proof liquor such as vodka or grain alcohol as a solvent. This offers the advantage of protecting against biological contaminants, and appears to offer somewhat better solubility. Regardless of which solvent is used, the impurities present in both liquor and water could conceivably alter the ability of the phenethylamines to enter and remain in solution, and could potentially react with them chemically. Another factor which could alter the ability of the chemicals to remain in solution is the temperature at which the solution is stored. Solutions which are stable at room temperature may separate out if stored in the refrigerator. The long term molecular stability of 2C-T-2 and 2C-T-7 in solution has never been explored, and there is the possibility that they may be less stable when stored in solution versus being stored in pure form.

No SWIMing, obviously.

Look up liquid measuring.

Of course you still need to know what you actually received was 200mg...

DON'T EYEBALL!!! Volume & weight are two different types of measurement. Also, the difference between a good dose and an unpleasant dose won't be all that apparent visually. Use liquid measurement.

Love that graphic by the way amapola... now we just need one with an eyeball in the middle.

I prefer to keep it in the powder form it is in now, there must be a way to estimate a mg like a pinky tip amount is 10mg?

NO!

there is no safe way to estimate a mass of powder by comparing its volume.

if you trust your supplier to give you exactly 100mg (this amount of trust is not safe, and you should have a scale to verify the amount of powder you have)

you can use liquid measurement to get a very precise dosing of individual amounts of compound.

100mg of compound in 100ml of water will make it so each ml has exactly 1mg. but this depends on having exactly 100mg and 100ml at the start.

DO NOT SNORT AN UNKNOWN QUANTITY OF THIS COMPOUND!

I don't even know if the density of this compound has even been determined yet. Does the manufacturer have physical properties listed anywhere OP?

even if the density is known, its not under uniform pressure in a baggie, so some will clump together, some will be a bit aerated & fluffy. On the web you can get an mg scale on the cheap (<$40) no problem. At a headshop you could probably get a .01g scale which would be good enough to verify your original amount & then do liquid measurement. Don't just go diving off into a bag of a potent psychedelic all willy nilly, buy a scale. 2c-t-7 would likely never have been scheduled if people would've maintained some semblance of responsibility with it.
