Syringe Gauge Help.. What's going on?

Alright, so I am pretty pissed off.

I have to drive about 1 1/2 halfs to NY from NJ since NJ pharmacists are bitches.
I have been getting the perfect sized ones for a while, I always say "1cc half inch tip" and I always got the same good ones.
BUT I think I have been making the mistake of not saying the right gauge because the ones i got, they where actually better all over besides the actual needle.

I feel like it is the first time I am IVing anything again with marks all over my arm and I am PISSED off since I have been getting rid of all the scars and marks I have with Derma Scar Gel (LOOK IT UP!)
And they were disappearing quick, but.. I got these and I have gotten drawback blood or registered less than 5 or so times.. what the fuck?

They are 29 gauge "Ultra Comfort.

Anyways the are 29 and I normall can register very easily in the same spot over and over and over.
Now, it has taken me like 45 minutes litterall to try and register some times and it is incredibl annoying, it's making me feel shitt due to the fact that I now have a bunch of marks on my arms because I thought alright, that didn't work anmore so this should.
I can't tell you what gauge I had before unfortunately because I don't know what they were... but either all a sudden CANT hit a vein at all anmore which I have good veins and not a junkie .. I dont use it for heroin or whatever OR it is the gauge size.
Can someone help me out? /r/askreddit I am going to have to drive all the way back to get new ones today because I can't stand these... Thinking I might have a vein and it just hurts, or just red marks, etc.
Help me out!

Is it the brand or the gauge? Am I used to a bigger gauge like 30 or 31 or is it the brand? Something just ISNT right, I almost always register on the first try and now its taken me 45 mins or more

The higher the gauge number, the smaller the diameter of the tip so a 32 gauge tip will be smaller than a 29.
Generally a larger tip will be more likely to scar, especially if you miss and need to re-register numerous times.
Are you sure the veins you are attempting to hit aren't collapsed?

Yes I am very sure, my arm isn't destroyed at all.

I have never had a problem getting it first everytime with new needles, but these needles are not registering or giving and squirt of blood.

Should I ask for 28s? or ?

Seriously, I gave up earlier today because I tried for an hour and only gave myself more marks and shit..

If you have prominent veins and are an easy stick then I would go for 1 ml, 32 gauge, half inch syringes. If you are a harder stick then I would go for i ml, 28 gauge, half inch insulin syringes. I would also spend the money and get something decent as the generics as so fucking awful these days.. and just get a whole box as it cheaper and will dissuade you from double use.. also get a sharps or use an old detergent bottle for disposal.

Okay I am getting very pissed off.

I don't know what is going on here.. I am doing EVERYTHING EXACTLY THE SAME and it isn't working.

I use 30 and they only had 29... but for some reason it just WONT register a hit.. it wont squirt blood or pull blood back. I have no idea if I am in a vein or not.


M y veins have not collapsed because I tried a bunch of good veins and everytime i pull it out, blood will come out.

What am I doing wrong? Is it the 29 gauge and I have to do it differentl?
It is the brand I am using compared to the other brand I use?

I prefer to use 30 or 31. 29 is a bit larger and you need to make sure you have a decent sized vein.
