Syrian Rue_optimum extract?

I am curious if anyone could suggest a route to extract harmaline simply (without a lab)> I have researched and there are some many different ways. I hope to eliminate trial and error. Thanks for the input.

The Nexus has a lot of good teks and guidelines you can follow. I made a thread here: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/597843-Manske-extraction?highlight=manske+extraction that goes into the extraction procedure.

Essentially:

1. Simmer your seeds in hot aqueous acid.
2. Take several aqueous pulls.
3. Concentrate the pulls down.
4. Filter. Filter. Filter some more. Then filter again.
5. Here you can either add base to obtain the freebase, or you can proceed to do a manske extraction of the HCl salt which is discussed in my thread above.
