synthetic cannabanoids and Xanax

Hey everyone, I was wondering if it would be safe to combine xanax and synthetic cannabanoids? Any experiences? advice on dosage? Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, but I saw somewhere that all research chemicals are discussed here. Thanks guys

It is a very broad question. Synthetic cannabinoids of differing molecular structure will have different metabolic routes (how they are processed and broken down by the body to assist in easier excretion). Whether these routes overlap with the metabolism of Xanax is the question I would be asking. If a cannabinoid is metabolized by enzyme X, and the xanax is already being metabolized by the same enzyme, then the effects of both will be heightened as they are now both being eliminated at a reduced rate by enzyme X.

A subjective report, I have combined with 122, 210, 250 and did not notice extended duration of effects or anything like that, but I would proceed with extreme caution and small doses until you become attenuated to how your body reacts to the compounds.

It should be the same as the weed/Xanax combo, but since it's more stimulating, I have the worry that it will conflict

I've used JWH-210 & 081 in combination with 0.5mg etizolam to no ill effect, aside from a lengthy nap ;)

As always you should start with lower doses to make sure you don't have an idiosyncratic reaction

I've used JWH-018 with xanax with no ill effect. As you mentioned, synthetics tend to be a bit more energetic/stimulating than weed. Xanax + weed makes me pretty drowsy; xanax + JWH doesn't. It felt pretty much exactly like xanax + weed, but with all the differences I normally notice between weed and JWH still noticeable.

Definitely, I would 'worry' more about conflicts i.e. interactions of additive sedation than the stimulating action of some synthetic cannabinoids. The stimulation can be pretty peripheral as opposed to central, and go into the direction of panic. In such a case a benzo could be a good remedy indeed but it would not surprise me if that made the sedative action of the cannabinoid come out and have you doze off real fast.

Other than that I wouldn't make a habit out of this combination (or benzo's in general for that matter).

Thats the only way I can take either synthetics or cannabis now. It sucks, I just get paranoid most of the time, I am going to carry a Klonopin in my wallet from now on.
