Trying to keep compounds of equaling strength can some of you who have tried both tramadol HCL and Codeine tell me the difference as best as they can. Duration ,onset ,productivity .....do you look wasted etc?

Also as I've never tried and know nothing of them since I'm UK originally and we have get prescriptions for paracetemol its that tight.... then how do percs,[is vicodin the same] compare alos?

For their REAL purpose of pain relief are they that good also ,I'm obviously very tolerant to tramadol so I feel no pain relief benefit from it......not that I know what pain its mean to treat??? Certainly not DOMS/muscle soreness ETC....still I enjoy that.

I've heard tramadol called dirty or more useful for other things or a stop gap if you can't get your H etc.

Does codeine also initially give you drive-motivation, make mundane tasks.......like tying your shoelace......and going to work....much more bearable or is it just a tune out drug like mixing trammy with too many xanax etc.

Do the effect lessen so you need more like H which is unlike trammy as there is a ceiling I believe where you feel N no different.

Since codeine is controlled [or outright banned here]. Is it that addictive? with serious WDS since most of you [except doctors it seems] know tramadol is addictive also and via 2 mechanisms.

I assume too much codeine with it being a opiate just nods you out like H where take a extreme dose of trammy [if you seizure 'covered't ,it just becomes more stim like and your thoughts become .....f---king strange.....and in my experience [at a very high dose 3g+] you start to become a danger to yourself and others and thankfully agrophobic.

That's just me though ,some people take more than that everyday.

Tramadol just seems to follow what buzz you are on -I can drink way more ,if I'm popping uppers I get more 'up' if i hit benzo's I not out ,if I hit all 3 in daily hits ......I'm a idiot but I know that.

Your in the UK - codeine is available over the counter in most pharmacies (Boots etc). Normally mixed with Paracetamol so needs to be washed before you can use it (or you will damage your liver / kill yourself). High doses will make you want to chill out more than having a nice walk about - higher doses also come with the higher chance of histamine reactions (itching). Lower doses can be nice for day to day things (same as most drugs).

Tramadol is effective for some people for pain (and pleasure) when others find it useless for both. You mention high dose in the 3g range - anything over a few hundred mg's and your in seizure territory so taking it in the gram+ range (simply for a stimulant like effect is pretty reckless). TBH this is the first time I've ever heard people talking about g's of Tramadol.

even as an opioid-naive person, codeine never did much to me (I took it up to 100mg I believe), I found Dihydrocodeine to be much superior. Tramadol worked better, and had a somewhat nice euphoric come-up (probably due to the serotonergic effects), but it wasn't really fulfilling either.
I prefer Kratom over both to be honest...

Ex-pat now in Thailand hence my scripts for ritalin ,benzo' and trammy otc [but that's changing].

With my UK GP record they would even give me 2mg valium.

Benzo's are anti'd seizure and I take .....quite with the 4 clona's long HL a day/night + xaxax help 'protect' me against seizures although benzo's are used long term for true seizure drugs as the effect wanes.

Average tramadol intake is 200mg a time 3-5 times a day depending.......pity as I was down to 6.....I hit it to get stimmed upm the .....I Just do it now cause I feel I have too however I know there is trammy ceiling with me where nothing more happens except to your wallet.

The dreamy floaty early days on 150mg tramadol and 5mg valium are long gone......

Being totally fucked up all day in order to not feel......fucked up.......is fucked up.....if you get me.

Ray of hope is I can feel 'myself' in there somewhere trying to get a good foothold and I'm about 50% than I was but now I'm too scared of the WDs ,I've tried ,I'd lose my job or worse so its damage limitation.

I just gotta get the doses down....all of them and get more control or this won't end well.
