Synthesizing drugs.... out of URINE

Hey guys, the title says it all.

I searched all over and couldn't find a match.

I'm looking at this from a low knowledge, high logic point of view. Basically, drugs are metabolized like heroin to morphine and when you get drug tested, the test looks for morphine metabolites.

Now, since there would be morphine in your urine... technically, would you be able to isolate and extract certain drugs from your urine?
 
first off, dude.. if youre that hurtin... like think about this question.

i think very few opiates pass through, not alot of morphine would remain unchanged. it gets metabolized, you said it yourself they test for metabolites. and just man...

I'm not hurting at all... But i mean, good clean chemistry would yield a product void of any urine. And you would only need to get high once and be able to keep re-using your morphine. It would save an infinite amount of money.
 
it doesnt work that way. if any morphine did pass through it would be less than the dose you took. it gets metabolized.

So it would work? In small amounts? It's a simple yes or no question buddy. You are saying, yes it would work, but very lesser a dose than previous?

excuse me? if you did a little research you would find what you need to know about morphine, and how it metabolizes. if you were to lets say sniff 50mg of morphine its likely that less than 5mg would get pissed out, and its not going to be in one pee. its so inefficient that you would have better results growing pap somniferums.

the guy trying to do chemistry on his piss to get high is calling me dumb... wowzers. check yo self before you wreck yourself.
 
lol...there was a guy got charged with manufacturing when his bucket of saved piss burnt up in a motel when he was saving it trying to extract meth from it.

Only drug I know of that you could get back from DRINKING your own urine is amanita muscaria mushrooms.

Also...no synth questions allowed.

I will say though, I don't know how much morphine you'd actually be getting, as morphine breaks down into other compounds (some active, some inactive) and isn't totally excreted unchanged.

Well if you had access to the type of lab you would need to do anything with your piss, you probably wouldnt need to be asking about:-)
