Just wondering. I'm having a short synacthen test done in a week for suspected secondary Addison's disease. I've been self medicating with meth for 2 years now. Will this interfere with my test results? I'm also taking 20mgs hydrocortisone in the morning only (endocrinologist has stated this is fine as long as I don't take it on the day of the test)
I'm guessing meth boosts cortisol levels somewhat. How long should I refrain from using in order to get the best results from my test?
