hey out there, living in the hurstville GENERAL area, just moved here from ireland, in hurstville because of job. very VERY , very quiet and looking for a good night out, where is the best place to head out to have a mad night?????????? as in decent music(chemical brothers, mint royal, the streets, pixies, sasha, decent dance, reggae basically anything decent) with no typical(sorry) ozzie loudmouth assholes shouting and fighting and getting arrested. nice chilled club or pub would be amazing. sick of the usual hotel/gambkling holes. please do me a solid.

I don't think you are going to get much luck in Hurstville but if you grab a train into King Cross and head down to 77 William St. They often do themed music nights for alternative, industrial, goth etc etc

do 77 still do those nights? i remember when i was 18 going to alt nights there... there was club blink on a friday night in the cross, then something at 77 on saturday nights

Hurstville is probably the last place you want to be if you want to be away from gambling...

head into town, check out Oxford Arts Factory, you can usually get some decent tunes in that place, amongst all the young trollops, its been that long since i have been out to a pub/club in the city i forget.

I grew up in that area - best advice is get yourself to the station and get into the city.

And ignore anything Lostpunk tells you.

cheers, and wierdly QUIET ROAR, i am moving to brisbane in about 6 weeks, thanks.
