I think you two will finally meet, all will be forgiven and you'll be best friends for eva and eva!!

Yeah, it was a bummer that I needed to leave early, I would have loved to hang longer with you guys. Hope you all had a tops evening nonetheless.

18th is perfect for me.

Sorry magpi, no disrespect, but I'd have to agree with all the anti-sushi points listed above... I just can't see us all sitting in a line at sushi train cramped in a tiny room on little stools. A grand idea to have sushi, but unless we can find a great venue for it, then I'm +1 for Greek.

as i said i will hunt out and track donw the right place for sushi/japanes

but im in agreement with greek

I agree greek or sushi this time, both suit me...and no chopsticks are good too, i felt retarded using a spoon lol.

There is this fantastic little Japanese place in Kings Cross called Ju Ju's. I'm not sure whether anyone has been. It's right near the Coles on Bayswater Road (it's underground). Anyway, it's reasonably priced and with a huge selection of both traditional and non-traditional Japanese cuisine (including the obligatory sushi for magpi).

You have to take your shoes off and sit at little tables that are kind of sunken into the floor (they should have tables large enough for 10 or so I'd imagine). They have sake/wine/beer. Only thing is, it's not BYO, but the house wine and beers didn't seem overly priced. I think it's the best Japenese I've had in Sydney by far.

Thought I'd throw that one out there. It's a pretty fun dining atmosphere.

Edit: Oh, forgot, they have karaoke after 10.30, which could be quite amusing.

I'm moving house on the 18th. Or the 19th. So count me in as a maybe.

Is that next weekend? Sheesh. It is too.

Maybe.

Who's Greek? Or where's Greek?

I know :\ December will be even worse though!

THR... the details of the place are on the previous page... can't be bothered searching for it at the mo ;)

Can't see any reference to a place but I did flick through pretty quick.

But anyway, what is up with you two miserable miserys?! It's November - the month before December! It's pre-festive build up! It's office parties, drinks, bbq's, drinks, christmas parties, drinks, drinks, drinks!! It's the bestest time of year. One of the few times that alcoholism is really socially acceptable!

So - December won't be "even worse"! It will be even drinkier!

God no, I love the festy season with all my heart. I was referring to the fact that it will probably be even harder to schedule a food appreciation in December!

The next two months are going to be rad. I am on one continuous end of uni celebration until I drop ;)

I've been to Diethnes, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. They have a full bar with cocktails too.

It's on Pitt St.
