Ok, so should I book it for 6? I just said 6:30 because I assumed people would need to get ready after work and get there. Can't speak for anyone else but I couldn't make it there much earlier than 6.

And that still makes it 10 people so we need two more players.
 
Just wondering. No one seems to care about the warning in the Aussie drug discussion forum?
Do you think that it might not be wise to contact each other in some other way with a new time date and venue?

I'm seriously not sure why you're concerned about that dude. We're just meeting up for drinks and dinner :D
Even if the cops did decide to sompletely waste their time seeking us out, if you don't have anything on your person then you have absolutely nothing to worry about anyway!
 
I've been to a few dinner and drinks meet ups organised through here and the police have never turned up. You would however have to be pretty stupid to bring drugs to a meeting organised on this website. Don't bring drugs, and you won't get arrested. It's that simple really.

There was nothing ever in high enough concentrations to cause hallucinations. It's an urban myth. However cases of insanity have been linked to it because of the high alcohol concentration and alcoholic abuse of it.

No but they could just hassle ppl. I wanna go, it waas just weird that a mod had bothered putting that warning in the other forum. Made it seem hot is all. Shld be a good night. le do like to hassle ppl though.

So including eK + 1 that's 12 so I just made the booking for 6-8PM.

If anyone else would like to come they have 25 seats in the place max. so I wouldn't leave it until the week before to make a second booking.

Hollywood Hotel for afterwards sounds good astrosmurf so let's just say that unless anyone comes up with a better idea.
 
Anyone know if it's still light after 8pm then? might have to get a light for me pushy. Imagine leaving you guys n getting busted for THAT. ha. really funny!

hold on a sec there peeps. I'm up for absinthe. I initially thought that the absinthe was going to be on a different night, or a different event or some shit... If it is the same evening, then I'm definitely up for it. Possibly with a +1, will have to check.

that's not enough. you need to lay down below the entry of the place so that cb can use you like a doormat. if you perform your duty well enough, maybe next time you will have the honour of stepping aside.

I won't be coming to the absynthe place because I am TRYYYYIIIIING to save my $$$$ so I would rather spend $30 or $40 on a decent amount of beer rather than a few shots of absynthe....but I will defo come catch up with y'all after the absynthe thing, I have been in secret negotiations with astrosmurf about this very thing.

edtree, if it makes you feel any better I have been on this site for about 100,000 years and have been to nearly as many meetups in that time and have not once had trouble with The Man. Like lostpunk said, it would be pretty monumentally stupid to bring drugs to a meeting organised on this site, but as long as you don't then there won't be an issue.

Cops have got too many aboriginal kids and otherwise harmless people to harass to bother stopping a bunch of middle class white people from enjoying a drink and maybe something to eat from pieface later. :p
