So who is going to this great show!!!

What : Two Tribes
When : 6/03/04
Where : Sydney Showgrounds (homebush)
How much : Early Bird $69 (im pretty sure they have finished). $79 normal full price tickets
Who's On : BT (Live Laptop Symphony)
Green Velvet (DJ Set)
Hybrid (DJ Set)

Should try to organise anyone goign to have a bit of a meet up sometime at party !!!

Any Suggestions ??? like When and Where ???

Yip yip, got my ticket and decdied to give the promoters one more chance to redeem themselves. If Picotto or anyone else for that matter doesnt show, I will not be a happy little vegimite. :|

A meetup is always good. We'll get a list going of people coming then we can make a time and spot. I'm excited!

I think this will be good too because if you find you dont enoy the raving aspect you still have the other rooms to go to. Hopefully ther arent many clashes because it's so hard to prioritise...
 
i think ill be going. hope the ticket sales go ok tho, pretty negative attitude out there re two tribes...

I'm thinking I should have waited until the last minute to get a ticket in case of cancellations. And also to see the timetables, because i hope theres not lots of clashes.

Now if you go to their website, for Sydney Two Tribes they have an offer of buying 3 tickets and getting the fourth one free, so round up some friends and save save save!
 
I'm so torn! I really want to go to Transmission because I always have a good time there [even thought there's noone I really want to see] BUT I would like to see Hybrid and BT. Is Two Tribes over 18s? I'm so scared of kandy ravers. Do you think there will be a lot of them?
 
There'll be a good few of them because of the HHC arena and those two internationals.

This is a 15+ event, so brace yourself...
 
I also am kinda torn about this. I would really only go just for Hybrid and BT. Specifically BT :) I have been waiting to see him for quite a while, but I am really over the big festival events like this. However I will most likely find myself going along anyways :)

The other reason would be to see Green Velvet and Koma & Bones, this is almost tipping me in favour of going, but kandy kidz really piss me off and this is tipping me back, quite forcefully.

I would love to be going to trans, would be crazy espically that 1. Its Valentines day ... 2.I'm at homebush to see KoRn (my other love)

Depending on my cash flow i may end up at trans, but dont like the chances korn is going to cost a bit ... o well, its all about TT now :D

I'm hugely torn on this. So many people I would like to see, but uni starts the week before and I planned to knuckle down.

whatever happened to ravers being accepting and loving types?

forget about the kandi kids.. they are there to have a good time like the rest of us.. just because they like to deck themselves out in freaky shit is no reason to write them off as people...

its not like you are going to be hanging out with them after all.. unless of course you are in that demographic!

chill! enjoy the people watching.. it's interesting to see how many freaks are out there! me included!

i hate seeing kids get off chops.. but if they are going to do it, they may as well be doing it at raves than in parks and shopping centre carparks where bad things tend to happen..


... and yeah.. i hope to be there!

OK a few things before i tidy up this thread.

1. I'm with Shakra!!!

2. Khandy does not always = fuckedup 15 year olds. Infact the majority of fuckedup 15 year olds i've seen out have not been khandy kids at all.

Like Shakra said, let them do their thing, while we do ours. We're all there for the music, whatever style or genre that may be. :)
