After ten years of using iv drugs ive finally run out of accessible veins that are not extremely dangerous to hit or too deep for a half inch syringe. Has anyone else been forced to switch RoA because of a similar situation? If so, what route do you use, do you actually get high, and were you eventually able to go back to iv use? Im a chronic pain patient and my current doc has switched from heroin for years and years to morphine, specifically 490mg daily in the form of two 200mg ms contin and three 30mg msir. Im and subq arent even an option in my mind because im really not interested in being any more riddled with abcess holes than i already am. I was thinking of switching to rectal. I have tried it twice now and definitely was relieved of sickness and pain, but never got high of course.

i hear if you take an oral syringe and put the drug up your arse that it's pretty similar to IV i think i might try it cause after 9 years it's very hard for me to hit any remaining veins

i setup a giant a vat of ms contin liquid from about 100 used cottons and washes stored in syringes. fucking great to plug keeps sickness away, still yet to get high

Are you sure you've run out of veins? There are TONS of surface veins all over the place that can be hit with a small 50 unit 30 gauge needle. I think that's right. I've only ever gotten them once because, well, that's what the pharmacist handed me and I wasn't trying to make a scene. But the needle is extremelyyy fine and absolutely perfect for hitting the surface veins! You should try that, if you haven't already. That is, of course, unless you just want to get out of the IV game for good... in which case, yeah, plugging is the way to go. I tried it once, with a very small amount though, and it did take me out of withdrawal... only for about 30 min to an hour though. :/

yeah i just cant do the whole plugging thing man id rather be rolling around covered in blood looking for a hit than not get my rush. sucks
