?switching from methadone to suboxone?

I'm on way to switch from methadone to suboxone . I'm fully aware of being careful with prec withdrawal that's why I'm switching from methadone to a short acting opiate b4 taking suboxone. My question... Is suboxone better day to day than methadone? How is it different?

it's different as it hits different receptors; there's a lot of information on this out there.

buprenorphine is a partial mu agonist, kappa antagonist, but it also effects the delta receptors, and sigma receptors
methadone is a full mu agonist, and NMDA antagonist
