Bupe Switching from Meth to Subs

Hi guys,
I am not nwe &And am sure this topic has been talked about 1000x. But everycase is different & I'm desperate here. I am getting kicked off my clinic for Benzo &Coke UI's. So I was on 130mgs for 3years. They've been detoxing me 5mgs every 3 days so I'm on 34mgs(& using heroin NCAA I work full time. So the sub Dr told me today to not go to the clinic Tom(sat) & (sun) & he'd dose me w subs Sunday @ 10am. I am extremely nervous. 1. I thought you were supposed to be on 20mgs or less. 2. Is 36 hours really going to do it with Methadone having such a long half life? I know you guys know & I'd REALLY appreciate ANY feedback. I can't sleep I'm so scared.

It's usually 30mg or less, that they want you on before attempting to start bupe.. though I know people who have made the switch at higher doses. So, if you're at 34mg's, you are probably okay. Obviously, the lower a dose of methadone you can get down to.. the easier the transition is going to be. So, if you're not in a rush to get on bupe, and are still feeling fine from the methadone, go even lower then switch.

But, if you decide to do it now, you have to wait until you are in full withdrawal.. your doctor will probably give you the cows scale test, and see how high you score. If you're in moderate-severe withdrawal, he will start the induction.. if not, he'll wait. But, the fact you've only been off methadone 36 hours.. I doubt you will be sick enough to start the suboxone that soon.
 
Thanks...but I'm also doing 5 bundles a day. So I changed it to We'd. So that be 5 days off the clinic. U think I'd still go into ps. wds? I didn't go today & I'm just not going anymore. My last dose was 34mgs. Thanks.
