Hello once again all...
So at my psychiatrist visit Friday, we decided the celexa (20mg daily) was helping me very minimally, if anything, and the doc decides to switch me to zoloft (50mg daily).
Fine by me..
So I get home with the new prescription and take one. After about an hour, I start feeling sortof 'detached', distressed, and very very sleepy. This strange disorientation grows stronger for the next 8 hours or so until I can barely drive my car in one lane, I cant hardly figure out where I am, and I cant form full sentences... at which point I finally make it to my g/f's house and I promply fall asleep!
The whole ordeal was sortof similar to a bad psychedelic trip in the mental sense (no visuals or anything though)...
Does anyone have a clue as to what happened to me?? I'm reluctant to take my zoloft again today, but I know that if I dont I'll get sick anyway from stopping my SSRIs cold turkey...
Need advice please
Thanks guys
