Switching Between Suboxone and Opiates

I have been on 8mg suboxone daily for about 4 weeks. Then i decide i wanna get high so i wait 24 hours and did a bag of dope. I got really high but now im scared to take my sub again. Do i still have to wait 24 hours after last opiate use to take another sub? Has anybody done this before? I've gone thru Precipitated Withdrawal 3 times now an i cant stand the thought of doing it again

I go back and forth often, though pharmies and lighter doses. I wait until I start kicking before I take my sub and I'm good. I've never made myself sick from taking sub too soon.

I don't know how big your habit is, but wait until you start feeling withdrawl-y and take your sub. If I were you, I would take less to see if it worked, try 2mg at a time until you get relief. You may find a much lower dose holds you, then if you decide to go back to something recreational, you may find that your tolerance dropped, which I'm sure you would be pleased with

I have found that as long as I don't go on a run and use for a few days in a row then I am good to take my bupe 12 hours after my last dose.

As long as there's still some buprenorphine binding to my receptor then I'm good to take a couple mgs without having to wait for me to feel shitty.
