I've been switched from the buprenorphine patch to oxycodone because the patch was hardly touching the pain. I have a back injury, had an MRI and all that biz.
I've been on 10mg patch for 8 days and today the doc switched me to Oxy 10s. He said I could start taking them right away, but I know that's not true from friends who have been on Subutex or Suboxone for years that it won't start working right away. They being on it for years said they had to wait week+ before they could take an opiate and it work.
Will this be the same for me since I've only been on Bupe for 8 days?
