Benzos switched from 40mg diazepam to 4mg clonazepam

yeah so my dr had me on 20mg valium mornings 20 at night,.... for insomnia we hit everything and he wouldnt give me a night time extra of diazepam... the vals...

so i thought they messed up and i thought they doubled my dosagse of benzo without notice... well i called him today he said its ok most people take it that way from 40mg valium...

is 2mg kpin twice a day = 4mg = 80mg valium?????

he said not to look and trust the internet or its gonna make it harder for all of us, meaning him and I.....


well fuck i have a second question...

he didnt void out the written rx for valium and they said the first of the month it can go through with insurance but since its a c4 here in illinois US, theres no need to call the dr right, i can pick it up for the last time since i am low on these kpins i have a few mg left i like how they dont mess me up they just work.... no matter what... valium i chase the high, clonazepam neither works or wears off, if taken daily its just there with no appearance to others of slurrred speach and it kicks anxiety a new one... do u think they will just fill the valium when they said it goes through, its not like its a c2 where they need to verify with the dr for anything its a written rx, clonazepam was put in later, the valium waas brrought 11 days early, i said ill wait the 11 days.... plus it will help hold me over and lower my tolerance while kickinng in quick assuming i stick under 70 plus a day, which i will... i get 60mg ativan 2mg pills illegally those will help hold me over...

do you think the chances are slim on the script getting filled because i have 4 mg left, i thought they fucked up and i was gonna say o well i want valium back 1mg kpin 2 times isnt enough.... so now if i can make it to the 20th about i can get the clonazepam again,,

they shouldnt call him right since they already said it should go thru on the first... it was fill too soon,...

i honestly dont notice a thing different with kpin 1mg-10mg all the same shit.... just works.... so thats a plus.... less abuse, nothing to chase,, until i have tension plus anxiety,... i can go back to val but why would i with 4mg - double the dosage i had earlier...


i was under the idea i was going to split a tab twice a day....

glad ill have 3 extra buprenorphine hcl Roxanne style bottles plus one for me..... if u catch my drift....

is there anything to do besides hope the timing works out and how long dp i have before i feel dt wd symptoms... april i started benzo daily.....

Clonazepam = 4 x the strength of Diazepam, I think. Meaning two mgs is like 8 Valiums. I actually had like 20 in one day once, which would be like 80 10 mg Valiums and didn't black out or anything. Just pleasently relaxed and comfortable. No wonder more reasonable doses of benzos never got me high (and to think some doctors believe 10 mgs of Valium once a day is drug abuse).

I like them mixed with a small amount of stimulant though. Seem to create an euphoric effect that neither can manage on their own.

depends on the chart and the dr but it seems to me and imho that 10mg diazepam = 1mg xanax = 1mg kpin.... but yes ur right, its much stronger.... mg wise....

if anyone can answer the other two questions for me.... the pm one isnt as important, but they should still fill my valium right its not early i never heard of them calling the dr for a non-early fill on a written paper prescription.... he would have already said something id have thought to void it out, but people are on multiple benzos... shit i could have epilepsy and anxiety for all the pharmacy knows, its not like im using touch tone to try and fill it, tomorrow is the day, if its ready ill walk up there pay my five bucks and r run run run run run fast fast to my apt and lock the door "phew" im saved.... or ill have to take now .5mg kpin a couple days in a row or one then two days of .5.... that suckkkks

all this was a huge mistake, well i thought it was so worse comes to worse ill trash my room if i dont get the ativan script from my friend and say someone took my meds,,,,,, file a police report and all........ fuck it... go to the er if i have to........ i fucked up, but only because... nm its not explainable, fact it i fucked up bad..... i can go 20 days..... lorazepam will last 14 if i do it right 2mg am and 2 mg pm

your doctor sounds like a douche. don't argue with him though, be thankful you have a script for benzos. just nodd your head and say u will take 4mgs klonopin, but 4mgs kpin is like 60-80mgs vals.

just fill the script for 4mg a daily, but trust u dont need 4mgs kpin. try with 1mg kpin in the morning and 1mg at night and see how that makes you feel. if it isnt strong enough then increase you night dose by .5 or something.

benzo equivalency charts are nothing but a rough guideline.
i agree with an above poster that i find the potency of alprazolam and especially clonazepam grossly overstated. 1mg=10mg sounds about right for alprazolam in my experience, and 2mg=10mg for clonazepam just about. can anyone tell me what exactly these charts are based on?

for me .5 clonaz = 8-10 diazepam but many people will argue 1mg clonaz is about 10 mg diazepam. All depends on the person. Clonaz won't make you sleepy like valium does though. I wish i had your doctor.

Each benzo has a slightly different effects profile and since each person is different, the charts are going to be off sometimes.

i asked to switch from 20mg valium a day to klonopin and he gave me 1mg klonopin twice daily to start. it worked today with anxiety but i just had to eat a half of my old valium to see if this is whats wrong with me...i feel sick to my stomach and up at 2 am tonight. i mean i was splitting the valium in half and maybe it will take a day for the klonopin to take over for the 20mg valium a day...i dunno had before and xanax but valium has worked best for me for yrs and i dunno why i asked to switch...now im gonna have to wait till weekend over to switch back to the valium....unless it doesnt have anything to do with the reason im feeling sick to stomach and awake right now...has anyone out there in pc land ever switch from 20mg valium to 2mg klonopin and felt sick to stomach? or am i just reading into this and maybe i should chill...any help thanx
