I thought I had everything mapped out (had done similar before -just lower dose).. Sooo, Its been A month and 1 day since I have taken any methadone..I'm /was taking A lot of norco, some soma, xanax ,ambien.. The Plan was to stay off meth for an entire month switching straight over to norcos then admitting self into rehab and weaning off the short acting norco there!!..Something came up and I "CANNOT" go into rehab until next week (perhaps even two wks) NOW I'm OUT of norco's 
..However I do have my 6 take home bottles ,110 mg each, which I NEVER planned on using ( I really hate the stuff ) .but my teen was expelled from school which was only A couple blocks away, NOW he will be attending A continuation school on the other side of town.. My roomy was going to watch over him -school ect, ect, until I returned from rehab but he had A heart attack last year and had been waiting for surgery to be approved!! They finally approved him right when I was preparing for rehab!! He is in great need of surgery I'm glad he was able to get in but NOW I'm out of everything other than my 6 take home bottles of meth I'm scared to death to touch8( ( I am impacted from all the norco's and feel like all was done for nothing haven't gone # two for almost two weeks .. I wont get any refills until mid next month .. Can anyone suggest what I should do..what one might do in this predicament .. ( PS, Its hard to think of weaning off norco's with the evil methadone I was so miserable on for 3 years.. besides the fact that it is diluted and hard to tell what I'm taking!! I would try cold turkey with some helpers but I have to enroll my son into new school , take him to a few DR appt.. then put my name on the rehab list again.. SCARED!!
