Opioids Switch from Roxys to MS Contin

To get high, I need to IV at least 3 roxy 30's. I have done 4 at once a few times as well and im pretty sure i could do more. I got a bunch of 15mg Morphine Sulphate ER's and i'm wondering how much im going to need to take to get high. If I take 20 should that be fine?

wow, 3 roxy 30's at a time...thats quite a big. i got down to one and got a good rush from that, great rush, but now im back up to 2 at a time again, damnit! i like to have 2 then 2 more 30 min later.

with morphine tho...i inject around 60-70 mg at a time. and it seems i need about 300mg to nod off! which seems like an insane amount to me! i mean, i can hardly handle the rush of morphine, but the high afterwards is just slim to none? i dont get it? but if i take a couple hundred milligrams 200-400 mg of morphine THEN i can nod off and feel great. i just hate how it takes so much.

anyway. the morphine suphate er's are hard to prep more than 2 at a time, honestly. and if you dont leave about a 30 min break in between shots, you wont get the same rush that you did the first time. but the rush off of 15-30 mg of morph is GREAT. shoot the rush off of 60 is almost unbearable lol. 100mg is really crazy. its actually a little uncomfortable but sometimes i do dose 100mg at a time to get to my 300mg range faster. lol. morphine is kind of a weird drug. with the rush it has and everything. i really like roxys (oxycodone) a lot better. the rush to high is equal, while the rush to high with morphine is like huge rush, no high, so you have to keep taking more and more, but you dont want to use to much at once or the rush will give you a headache? i dont know. morphine pisses me off sometimes. but maybe this post will give you a little insight on morphine vs. oxycodone.
 
Hey OP,

Check out the Opioid Equivalency Chart in my signature. Morphine has a very low oral bioavailabilty due to extensive first pass metabolism, as well as quite low nasal and rectal as well due to poor absorption. It is in fact twice as strong as oxycodone when injected intravenously. That being said you will have some difficulties as you have an extended release morphine preparation so you'll have to look into breaking it. Try searching "ms contin" or read the discouraging thread under Morphine in the OD Directory linked in my signature.

Morphine isn't as strong as oxycodone, but if its your first time banging the morphine just take it one shot at a time and see what you need, everyones tolerance is different. And 3 roxys at one time to get high is a pretty decent fucking tolerance.
 
^Actually morphine is stronger then Oxycodone when you IV it.It's only weaker through nasal/oral.rectal administration because of it's low oral b/a.Morphine as a chemical is actually like 1.5-2 times as strong as oxycodone.

Thanks everyone for the replies, I tried IVing 30mg and didnt feel a damn thing. The consistency of the solution also worried me, it was like vegetable oil. So i just popped the rest (18x 15mg pills=270mg) Within 1.5 hours I felt pretty damn good. I was high for like 9 hours and nodding all day. It kinda sucks how much of this stuff you have to take but when you take enough its pretty nice.
 
is it brand name ms contin?those are the worst.i can easily prep sandoz,teva and ratio pharm brands.i had to tell the pharmacist that im allergic to the inactive ingredients in brand name ms contin so i dont have to deal with those wax pellets.
 
Under an old user name, I posted a thread about IV'ing MS Contin a while back. I will try finding the thread now if I can. I had success from it, and didn't do anything too special. I really don't recommend using MS Contin this way, although I did in the past. I didn't suffer any huge consequences, but it's just such a bad pill to inject.
