Heroin switch from morphine to heeoin

Moved to a new area in the northwest. So the morphine (60-90 mgs a day) is too expensive so I need to switch. How much would that equate to in heroin to keep from getting sick? I just can't afford the morphine anymore, so I kinda have to make a switch! Not something I want to do, but its killing my wallet!!

To start, we cant talk prices here.

Heroin use is generally cheaper than using pills in every part of the world I have heard of.

That being said, any long term heroin user will tell you that within a month or two, the amount of heroin used will sky rocket and become more expensive.

Have you thought about quiting?

I REALLY wouldn't recccomend going to heroin with a 60-90mg Morphine habbit, especially if you are taking it orally,plugged, or snorted... If your going to continue to use, and really do not want to quit, maybe give Poppy Tea a try(pods or seeds). I think the seeds would be cheaper. I had a Pod habbit back when they were hella cheap, then started again when the price went up to ridiculous, pretty much the same price as pills...but maybe look into seeds instead of jumping to heroin...

Street heroin is of highly variable purity, that's the problem. You basically have to titrate it yourself. Start low and increase your dose a little til you get to where you want to be.

When taken orally, heroin is about 3x as strong as oral morphine. When IV'd it is 2.2x as strong as IV morphine, or about 7.5x as strong as oral morphine.

These figures are for pure heroin so it's an ideal case. There's guides to purify it online if you want to put the care into doing that.

I thought the US cracked down on pod sales? I've never had it but I was under the impression that internet pods were driven to near extinction. at the very least are more expensive with a drop in quality.

Yeah, people don't realize how potent oral heroin actually is.

The problem is that it is dose dependent; and can range from 18-75%.

But just to clarify, at low-moderate doses, oral diamorphine is 1.5-2x as potent as (chronic) oral morphine, but at high doses it is indeed up to 3x as potent.

If u gotta switch then there's not a whole lot we can do then say "don't do it" I would recommend a low dose of methadone or buprenorphine for A short maintenance stint before tapering....

But in the end if u do make the switch u are simply switching to morphine sulfate to morphine diacetate. Like others stated the complications come from the inconsistencies in the purity of one bag of smack to the next

They are still out there, quailty depends but 3-4 tablespoons I would be maintained 6 buzzed, 10 really buzzed/nodding. Never did seeds though. Then I started getting into popping pills left and right again cuz, well might as well with the prices they were, then shooting pills, now on Bupe...thanks DEA,lol.

If you think you're going to save money by switching to heroin.. you're fooling yourself. Yeah, in the immediate short term, but very quickly your tolerance will sky rocket, and you'll be spending twice what you ever were on pills.

I see people give that reason as a justification to start using heroin a lot, and quite frankly, it's just bullshit.

If it's black tar Heroin then you'd be downgrading dramatically.

I used to use 100mg of hydrocodone per day and I thought switching to Heroin would save me money. It definitely saved me money but to achieve the same anagelsic effects required more than I expected. The euphoric to analgesic ratio was much higher but the euphoria was dirty. The effects were very short lived, and it was a hassle to use. I dissolved the tar in water and used an nasal spray btw

In conclusion black tar was so bad I decided to switch back to hydrocodone.

Are you using morphine orally or are you shooting it?

You do not want a heroin habit if you are taking morphine orally.......60-90mgs a day.

If you want to continue down the opiate road, stick with pills but switch over to something stronger. You could try kratom or pod tea........oxycodone orally is better than morphine.

Stay away from opana & dilaudid tho, those will get your tolerance to a point of no return.

Heroin is in the same boat as opana, your tolerance will skyrocket........
