TOO MANY HOES IN MY MOTHAFUCKING MEAL
hi everyone, don't know if it's the right place but I have a suggestion for the site.
I always see people using SWIM or talking about their pet dragon, monkey, hamster and such
so I think it would be better to put a very visible banner saying not to use these things. sometimes it gets really annoying and it's hard to read shit like "my hamster whom is not me and his friend dog whom is absolutely not a friend of mine took a blotter " .... etcetera

it is already part of the BLUA.

Rules have been established to protect Bluelight and its members against abuse. Use of Bluelight for any purpose that is unlawful, or in any manner which could impair the operation of this site or any other party's use or enjoyment of this site, is strictly prohibited.

Specifically, you may not:
use Bluelight in any way, shape or form for unlawful purposes, including, without limitation:
  • attempting to solicit or obtain contraband substances or substances of a quasi-legal status or information on how to do so;
  • posting or exchanging any information on ongoing or future criminal activity, any information which can be construed as discussing such activity or actively encouraging others to engage in criminal activities;
  • ask for advice regarding drug tests;
  • use ineffective self-incrimination avoidance terms. Terms include but are not limited to: SWIM; my dog; etc.

and many forum's guidelines already repeat the rule.

We have exhausted all of our resources (aside from the banner which you mention, although I think that some forums may have it in theirs) to keeping the 'swimming' to a minimum, but I will say that your suggestion has been noted by senior staff and we will begin discussing it amongst ourselves.

yeah I see, but I think only 1% (if not less) of the users read the rules before posting

great ;)

After reviewing this with the other members of Senior Staff we have made some changes that will hopefully result in a decrease in the use of "SWIM."

For one, the swim rule was added to the 'Welcome Wagon' PM that all new members receive upon registering to this site. There was another issue where one of the links to the BLUA was redirecting to an older version of the BLUA that did not include the 'SWIM' rule, so that was resolved by linking it to the newer version of the rules that includes 'no swim' in it.
