SWIM took MDMA yesterday afternoon, has been sick (nauseaus), tired, and "off"- HELP!
Yesterday afternoon, SWIM had done Molly in a powder form that must have been bunk and was vomiting soon after for hours and also had/still has blurred vision and a killer headache. They have not slept- too much anxiety. Still not feeling so hot but SWIM is a little bit better- still has blurry vision, but less often, also is still pretty nauseous. SWIM is afraid that they may have serotonin syndrome. SWIM has been on SSRI's for almost 15 years- currently on Celexa 40 mg. SWIM has battled with depression and anxiety for a long time. About 7 years ago, they went through a debilitating depression that lasted almost a whole year. SWIM began taking clonzepam 2mg/day and zolpidem at night. SWIM has recently come across some hard times and decided to be proactive about it and talked to her Dr. about going on something else SWIM began taking a small dose of effexor at night and in the morning. They have been on this for 3 weeks now and hasn't had any. However, I know that SWIM will take 5htp to help relax/sleep, and has been doing so lately. SWIM also smokes cigarettes and pot often and for a few months will go on 2-3 day coke/molly binges. I know that SWIM just wants to get better and has been taking the recommended dosage of 5htp, ala, and vitamin c. SWIM has also taken a ton of their clonzepam which does not seem to have it's normal effect as SWIM is still pretty anxious. Should SWIM ride this out, just stick to their prescriptions, hope it was just really bad mdma (or something else) and hope to feel better day by day? Or does it seem like SWIM has serotonin syndrome and should go into the hospital (SWIM really does not want this on her heath record as she has been denied individual insurance, bc of depression and anxiety, and has to pay $600/month as it is for individual insurance. SWIM is scared that her insurance company might drop her, that she will be committed, and that this will go down on her health record permanently. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!8(
