Swelling after IV

This has been posted a few times I'm sure but I want an answer for my specific case. I IV'd morphine, small dose about 30 mg, into my hand. Registered it, wasnt painful, got a nice rush, but I know it's still possible I missed. But I've read a lot on how this could be a regular histamine reaction. It's swollen around the site I IV'd and it's itchy but not really painful or anything.

Sounds like a histamine rxn. Watch out shooting in your hands; they're not recommended for several reasons
