Surgery tomorrow

Hi everyone,
I joined about 30 mins ago. Great place bluelight, isn't it?
Anyway, just posted a thread regarding drugs before surgery. Please read and get back to me if you have a chance.
I'm pretty desperate for advice.

I went out for my friends birthday on Saturday night knowing that I'm having a small surgical operation tomorrow, (Thursday). I promised myself that I wouldn't take anything due to the surgery and instead would drink a shit load. I did this and got v drunk, so drunk that the thought of a few lines sounded appealing. I ended up having 2gs to myself.

Will I die tomorrow? lol - I'm planning on telling the anaesthetist what happened because i've heard c increases the chance of anaesthesia awareness. This scares me a lot. The biggest problem for me is that i'm only just 18 years old, and if the anaesthetist decides to tell my mother, I think I would rather die on the operating table.

Hey sorry I went out for a bit, what did you have two grams of?

I'd definitely tell the anesthetist as well that is a safe thing to do, I can understand your mum will not be happy aha sheeet.


I'm going to move this over to Basic Drug Discussion because I see there is 299 people viewing it so surely some other people with more experience in this area will be able to advise because I can't really think of anywhere to put this thread, for HR's sake like I think its probably important that a few people advise on this because it sounds kind of serious and its happening tomorrow. But so long as you're straight up with the doctors like you're going under I think that is a pretty smart move, but tell us what did you consume?

thanks! It was coke which i've heard has a short half life so should be fine. However there apparently some pretty scary stories about its effects linked to anesthesia awareness
 
Oh my god that sounds pretty bad! Yeah, you're right i'll so that now. Thanks for your help, i'd definitely rather be safe than sorry
