The reason I do not like that argument is because there are a lot of things in nature that will kill you. If you happen to like shrooms and it happens to be a "death cap" well you're fucked lol

First of all, Cannabis plant is not going to kill anybody and has been used for over thousands of years for both medical and recreational purposes. Second, it's ridiculous if you wanna say that some plants are illegal to grow or use because of being poisonous!

Like they say, it's all about this: "If you really wanna do good in politics, just be tough on drugs!" ;)

And I know something for sure. If you fight the nature, it fights back!
 
marijuana is the best fucking medicine.
hopefully we get FULL LEGALIZATION in CA soon.

they can keep that shit illegal for all I care.
had some bad trips from legal shrooms in Amsterdam in 2000.
 
You can't pick and choose what you want to be made illegal. If you say that weed is a medicine, what about the people who use pscilocybin for cluster headaches. What about people who take LSD for therapy, or MDMA for PTSD. You can't tell people what works as medicine and what doesn't. Look at what happened with weed, the FDA just said "it's not a medicine, fuck you people who use it."

I may not agree with what drug you're taking, but I will defend to the death your right to take it!

I'm not religious, but I don't understand why the more conservative religious groups decry cannabis. If god created this awesome, euphoric, pleasant, medicine why would he want to you to not use it. Of course poppies have medical use so god created them to help us out.

I don't want to enter the religious talks, but we have an Islamic regime in Iran. I'm not sure if you know this, but using any cannabis product (specially hashish) is a political crime in Iran and it's because of its effects in philosophical and deep thinking. While long time ago Persian prophet and philosopher Zoroaster (700 BC) mentioned and listed cannabis as the most important of 10000 medicinal plants!
